I'm looking for a good notepad widget, or a notepad application I can open on my desktop. I basically want something that looks just like the 'To Do' widget, but lets me make lists and notes rather than dated to do items. Here is an example of what I'd like to be able to do with the app: I have all my recipes in a folder in documents. I want to be able to open a notepad on my desktop so I can make a grocery list as I click through my recipes. Stickies are too small and don't lend themselves well to list making with super limited formatting, so that isn't working for me. Update for mac high sierra. I've also just opened a blank word document and toggled back and forth between the recipe document and the shopping list document, but to be able to see both simultaneously the windows have to be resized, and then I have to save the list in my documents to get it out of the way when I'm doing work, and then my documents folder gets clogged up with old lists that are unimportant, and I have to remember what the heck I named the stupid thing, because for some reason I always think there is a good reason to name it something other than Grocery List at the time I'm saving it. ? In any case, this is just one example of the kind of list I make on a regular basis. Free addicting games mahjong. About SecretNotePadPlus A rich text editable, password protectable notepad widget for Leopard. - Rich Text Editable. - Password Protectable. - Password and Memos are stored in keychain. I am a teacher so I make lots of lists for various tasks daily. I would like to have these lists in a separate app where they are easier to find and manage. I'd rather not have to switch back and forth from my desktop to my dashboard, but I can live with that. ![]() Any suggestions? I should mention -- I've already tried ClassicNotePad and Secret Notes. Neither of them are what I'm looking for. ClassicNotePad is just ugly and I don't understand that huge blank space at the top that I can't type in.? Best mac blushes for pale skin. And while Secret Notes functions very well, I don't like having to reenter my password everytime I click off the list. It just gets annoying. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
